Mr. Small:
You recently conducted a S.H.A.R.P. presentation at the APCO/NENA conference in Truth or Consequences, NM.  I was one of the attendees, and I would like to say it is, by far, one of the best presentations I have heard on customer service.  The topics, values and attitudes that you discussed and outlined are something that entirely too many of us in Law Enforcement and Emergency Response have left by the wayside in our day to day interactions with those that we serve.  Thank you for reminding my of what the true purpose of my line of work is, and for reminding me that "by adding value to others, I add value to myself."   Having been quite disheartened with the way our Department and Division have been conducting business as of late, I needed the inspiration that you so eloquently provided.

I only have one complaint.  You didn't say "dude" enough during your presentation.  :)
