THE
RESURRECTION
ASPECTS
OF THE RESURRECTION
Rom.1:1-4 Job 14:14
"Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was
made of the seed of David according to the flesh; and
declared to be the son of God with power, according to the
spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
(Rom. 1:1-4)
If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my
appointed time will I wait, till my change come. (Job
14:14)

I. THE
RESURRECTION ANSWERS THE AGE OLD QUESTION ABOUT LIFE
AFTER DEATH.
This has always been a prominent question in man's mind.
a). Job asked this question in Job 14:14.
b). He answered it in Job 19:25-27. "For I know
that my Redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the
latter day upon the earth. And though after my skin
worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see
God: whom I shall I see for myself: and mine eyes shall
behold and not another; though my reins be consumed
within me."
II. THE RESURRECTION PROVES THAT MAN LIVES ON IN
ETERNITY.
Jesus said to the repentant thief on the cross,
"Today shalt thou be with me in paradise."
a). There is eternal death to the lost.
"In hell the rich man lifted up his eyes, being in
torment," Jesus said in the story of the rich man
and Lazarath.
b). Jesus often used the term eternal life
when He spoke of salvation. " I give unto them
eternal and they shall never perish."
c). The resurrection is eternal and infallible
proof that when a person they do not cease to exist as atheism
asserts.
III. THE RESURRECTION GIVES US A GLIMPSE AT OUR NEW
BODY.
a). It will not be restricted by
matter. (John 20:19).
b). Will be recognizable.
c). Will not be hindered by gravity
or space. (Acts 1:8-9).
IV. IT TAKES THE STING OUT OF DEATH FOR BELIEVERS.
(I Cor. 15:55-57).
a). Nothing is so avoidable or camouflaged
as death.
b). The Christian need have no dread
of death. The resurrection of our LORD proves that we
will live after death also. In fact we will be more
alive than we have ever been. Read the book,
"NINETY MINUTES IN HEAVEN."
Death, for the Christian is a door that closes on sin,
sickness, sorrow and separation and OPENS to celestial joy,
peace and Eternity.
Do you know Jesus as your personal Savior? If not will
you ask Him to forgive you for your sin and ask Him to
come into your life to be your personal right now?
May God bless you and fill your life with His peace and
joy!!!
