Joe Price
was born in East Texas, entering the Coast Guard in his teens. He
loved country music, and went to work and bought a guitar when he
returned from the service.
Joe started singing and writing country songs. He was featured on
"Saturday Night Shindig" in Dallas, and played shows and
auditoriums around Texas and Oklahoma.
After he started recording, he was saved and called to the ministry.
While he continued working in the music industry, he attended Bible
College. Dr. Price has pastored churches around Dallas and one in
Missouri, but he never quit singing and writing. His gospel songs
have been recorded by many in the industry, including big name artists.
Brother Joe is always ready to help a young singer or preacher in any
way that he can. His uplifting words of encouragement have lifted
many struggling artists to new heights.
Dr. Joe Price along with Jimmy Lee Fautheree founded Texas International
Music Association and have released numerous CD's worldwide, featuring
well known stars and up and coming stars. Launching the careers of
many well known artists, TIMA enjoys great success. While
remaining CEO of TIMA, Dr. Joe Price turned over the daily operations to
his good and trusted friend, Roland Wright in 2007.
Dr. Price is celebrating 50 years in the ministry of our Lord and Savior
in 2008, and continues to minister daily in word and song.
