Lea Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome husband -and-wife team,
Myo Aung, M.D., and Yu Yu Khin, M.D., to their local medical staff.  In
October, Dr. Aung joined LRMC and became part of Internal Medicine of Lea
County.  Dr. Aung received his medical degree from the Institute of Medicine
in Yangon, Myanmar, and completed his residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical
Center in Brooklyn.  At St. Nicholas Medical PC in Brooklyn, N.Y., Dr. Aung
served as an attending physician.  In 2005 and 2006, he was named
Outstanding Resident of the Year at Wyckoff Heights Medial Center.
Dr. Khin is a board-certified internal medicine physician.  Dr. Khin
received her medical degree from the Institute of Medicine in Yangon,
Myanmar, and completed her residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in
Brooklyn, N.Y.  She has practiced at St. Nicholas Medical PC in Brooklyn,
N.Y. and at Benedictine Hospital in Nongoma, South Africa.  Drs. Aung and
Khin are currently accepting new patients.
