On March 6, 2010 The Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce had its 4th Annual Fiesta de Salud (Health Fair) and were pleased to serve over 300 Citizens from throughout Lea County.  We had over 25 health providers offer free screenings, products, gifts and services.

The Board of Directors thank our staff Juana Frazier, Genevieve Navarrette and The Community Affairs Committee of The HHCC for organizing an excellent event. We thank RMS Foods (Boca Burgers), Pepsi (Carlos Ayala), Frito Lay (Jenifer Rojas), Sara Lee (Manuel Ortega), La Tienda (Tony Mendoza) and D&D Pipeline Construction (Jim Davis) for providing the health lunch. 

The Board of Directors of The Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce and other Volunteers cooked and served a health lunch to all in attendance. We thank the following 2010 Participants: Curves, Hobbs Family Health Center, Star Care, Hobbs Police Department, Arreola Chiropractic Center, Faith In Action, Lea County Health Counsel, Census 2010, Nor-Lea General Hospital, High Plains Oncology, Orthodontic Centers, Lea County Department of Health, Lea County Emergency Management H1N1 Effort, Community Drug Coalition of Lea County, Noseff Family Chiropractic, Kymera Independent Physicians, The Eye Center of SE New Mexico, Dr. Paul Bublis (Busy  Bee Health), Dr.s Myo Aung & Yu Yu Khin (Internal Medicine of Lea  County), Pecos Valley Physicians Group, Sr. Circle / Healthy Women Programs, Vista Care, United Way 2-1-1 Program, Eunice Industrial Center and Desert Gardens Assisted Living Facility.

An event like this is not possible were it not for the GREAT and GENEROUS people of Hobbs and Lea County.  Again thanks to all who participated.
