The Hobbs Hispaco Chamber of Commerce along with the Hobbs Chamber of Commerce did a joint Ribbon Cutting for La Michoacana Paleteria y Nieveria on October 29, 2009.  They are located at 520 N. Turner.  This is a Mexican Ice Cream and Fruit Pop shop, which is popular throughout the state of Mexico.  Owners Lorenzo and Juana Aguiree brought the shop to Hobbs to share the taste of Mexican culture and to bring families together. They offer a wide variety from fresh fruit waters, ice cream, fruit pops and other traditional snacks.  Stop by and taste all of their delicious treats.
