The Hobbs National Bank hosted Pan Dulce y Café for the month of June.  It was awesome!!!  Here is a little information on how the banks came to be.

The Portales National Bank was founded July 30, 1906, as the First National Bank in Elida , New Mexico . It remained at that site until October 12, 1935, when it was moved to Portales , New Mexico and became The Portales National Bank.

In 1965, the bank built and moved into its present modern building so that adequate service could be given to customers. The move was very timely, as the bank had grown two and one-half times in size by 1975.
