SEPTIEMBRE! MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

A
great sense of anticipation, excitement, and pride filled
the air as the crowd gather to take part in the "¡Viva
Septiembre!" ceremonies. "¡Viva
Septiembre!" marks the first annual Hispanic Heritage
celebration and Membership Drive, and was hosted by Hobbs
Hispano Chamber of Commerce. This eager Crowd
enjoyed beautiful interpretations of traditional Mexican
Fold songs by Mariachi Cisne de Mario Alberto, and special
performances from Cassandra Trejo "Casey" and
Nancy Ortega. Among the live entertainers was the
Star Dance Academy, which showcased their beautifully
choreographed Ballét Folkórico. The rich Hispanic
culture is proudly displayed in its music, dance, and
traditional food. The crowd enjoyed an evening of
music, entertainment and Mexican cuisine. The Hobbs
Hispano Chamber is honored and will continue to work on
bring events with Hispanic emphasis to our community for
all to enjoy. We want to give thanks to all of our
sponsors, and dedicated members, who helped put this event
together.
