A Little Info About Ralph
Trice:
Coach and school teacher
for 35 years, father, husband, grandfather and friend.
Drug in more old car
bodies in 50 years than anyone could imagine and restored them.
Touched the lives of
thousands.
A happy man filled with
the love of God and love of life.
Never did anyone wrong.
Gave of himself for all
people.
Lived his life treating
others like he wanted to be treated.
He was a humble person -
always.
He was a good kind
person.
He was strong in his
faith and attended First Methodist early service. Ralph spent many
years visiting others who were sick, or calling to make sure they were
ok. He was a counselor for many who sought his advice about life
in general. As a teacher, it was not unusual for students or
parents to call him at home, and he was always willing to spend the time
with them that needed him...many times into the later hours of the
night.
He wasn't the type of
person who would burden anyone else with his problems. He would
ask "20 questions" of anyone he ran into, and would know more
about their life than believable in a short visit. He did this
because he was interested in other people, and always turned the
spotlight away from himself. He gave of himself constantly.
He didn't talk about others unless he could say something good.
Ralph was very active
with Hobbs August Nites. He was always in charge of the auto swap
meet. He would help wherever he was needed. He will be
missed.
Please come honor Ralph
Trice at this dedication parade of Hobbs August Nites 2003. |
