About Exit 416 Ministries

History: Exit 416 ministries began in 2005 when Pastor Casey Johnson felt God calling him to surrender into fulltime Evangelism. While pastoring a growing, healthy church in Pollock, Louisiana, he decided to surrender to God’s call on his life. He was in youth ministry for eight years. Therefore, he has a huge heart for the youth of our country. His desire is to share the Gospel of Christ with any age group that will listen. Casey has been blessed by God with a gift of relating to all groups of people, therefore giving him an opportunity to minister in any area of the church. Casey is a firm believer in the Word of God. He stands in the pulpit with a keen awareness that it’s the Word of God that does all the work. He just needs to passionately unfold it before the people.  The name Exit 416 derives from the passage in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, “For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore, comfort one another with these words.”  With that great promise before us, we offer hope of Christ’s return. We call this our Exit 416. The day we leave this place and spend forever with Jesus. We hope to see you at Exit 416.  

Family: Casey is from Crowville, La. He spent most of his life in this small farming community. At the age of nineteen he married Dee Dee Davis of Baskin La. They have been married 14 years and have three children (Hunter 11, Grace 8, and Abby 4.) They currently live in Crowville, La. They attend Crockett Point Baptist Church in Crowville, La.

Belief: Casey believes first and foremost that there is only one God, Jehovah God. There has never been and will never be another. He also believes that God created man and man rebelled against him, therefore, separating man from God. However, in all of God’s mercy and grace, he made a way for man to be reconciled to himself. This way was the death of his son, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was in the beginning with God and he step out of heaven to be born of a virgin and live a sinless life. He then went to the cross of Calvary and was crucified on our behalf. Because of his death, burial and resurrection we can have an opportunity to be restored to a relationship with God and have victory over the chains of sin. Casey believes that you are saved by Grace through faith. There’s nothing good enough that someone could do in order to receive salvation. It’s strictly a gift from God. He also believes in the eternal security of the believer. Once you are saved, you will always be saved. He believes that faith come by hearing and hearing by the preaching of God’s Word. Casey believes the Bible is God’s very voice, his inspired word to us. Therefore, he believes if any person is going to be what God wants them to be, they must study God’s word and life by it. There are many other things that he believes according to the Scriptures, that are too lengthy to just run through. You might just say, he is a man of the Bible.
